I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful
holiday, and to those of you that are travelling, stay safe!!
 
Making this easy on myself today, since I still have wrapping and lots of baking to do in the next couple of days...been procrastinating way too long and now it's crunch time.  So I hope you enjoy the music I'm sending out, heard this about a week ago on the radio and thought at least some of you might enjoy it!

1998 The Higher Regional Court in Mannheim, Germany, sentences promoter Mathias Hoffmann to a jail term of five years and eight months. Hoffmann, 47, organizer of the 3 Tenors' concerts, had been found guilty of 59 counts of fraud and tax evasion involving some $13.5 million.
1997 A Munich court sentences concert promoter Marcel Avram to 3 1/2 years in jail on 12 counts of tax evasion from 1989 to 1992, involving a total of $3 million.
1995 Lawrence Berk, founder of the Berklee College of Music, dies of natural causes at age 87 in Boston.
